Congressman Murphy campaigned heavily in early 2009 on his belief that President Obama’s pork-filled, deficit-driving stimulus program would improve the economy. Unfortunately for all of us, the Obama Stimulus did nothing but spend our taxdollars, increase the national debt and postpone economic recovery. The graphic above shows the Obama administration projections for unemployment over time, with and without the “help” of the stimulus, and the actual unemployment rate for the same time periods. As you can see, the Obama stimulus is not having the effect that Democrats promised us.

Congressman Murphy has already championed one liberal program that didn’t work. Will he vote for one when the healthcare bill comes to the floor? Stay tuned.
